Dice Scry

D&D Dice Gift Guide

Dice are one of the best gifts you can give a tabletop player. Almost everyone wants another set, they are small enough to post, and a set picked with care feels personal.

If you do not play yourself, do not worry. A standard seven-dice set (D4, D6, D8, D10, D00, D12 and D20) works for D&D and most other tabletop games, and every set below is a full seven-dice kit.

The easiest way to choose is by the person: their favorite color, the character they play, or simply what catches your eye. Here are a few safe directions to start from.

I

A safe first set

Classic, easy-to-read sets that suit almost anyone. If you know their favorite color, start here.

II

For the collector

Chessex Lab sets are small, limited runs. For someone who already owns plenty of dice, a Lab set is something they are less likely to have.

III

Something that glows

Glow-in-the-dark sets are a fun surprise for late-night games and horror campaigns.

IV

Shimmer and sparkle

See-through sets with glitter or shimmer inside look special the moment they come out of the box.

V

Dark dice, gold numbers

Black and deep-colored dice with gold numbers look smart, and they suit almost any character.
