Glow in the Dark Chessex Dice
Glow in the dark dice are great for late sessions, horror games and anyone who just likes a little magic at the table. Chessex marks these sets as Luminary or Ghostly Glow.
The glow comes from charging the dice under a light first. Below are the glow sets we list, then a few tips for getting the best effect. They are regular dice the rest of the time, so you do not give up anything by choosing one.
Glow sets show up across several finishes. Some are Ghostly Glow, some are Luminary Nebula or Luminary Borealis, and the look in daylight can be quite different from the look in the dark. That is part of the fun.
If you play mostly in a bright room, you will get less out of the glow. In a dim room or at a late night game, it really shines.
Glow sets
These sets glow after being under a light. You will find Luminary versions inside other lines too, such as some Nebula and Borealis sets. Pick the body color you like and check the number color, since a busy die can be harder to read in normal light.

Charge the dice under a lamp or your phone light for a minute or two. They glow best in a dark room, so turn the lights down before you roll. The glow fades over a few minutes, so top it up when you need it. A quick charge before each session is all it takes.
Still deciding?
Glow dice are fun in the dark and still work as normal dice in daylight. Just make sure the numbers are easy to read when the lights are on. Try the dice finder.
