Chessex Lab Dice and Limited Editions

Lab Dice are small limited-edition runs. They are often unusual colors and finishes that you will not see in the regular line, which is a big part of the appeal.

The catch is simple. Once a Lab set sells out, it may not come back. That makes them a little different to shop for than a standard set.

Lab Dice are a good fit if you collect, if you want a set nobody else at your table has, or if you just enjoy the hunt. They are less of a fit if you need a particular set to replace a missing die, since a sold-out Lab set may not return.

Lab sets still follow the same naming pattern as the rest of the range. The number color comes after the colorway, so you can judge readability the same way you would for any other set.

Current Lab sets

Here are the Lab sets currently listed. If one catches your eye, do not wait too long. Check the number color in the name so you know how readable the set will be, then grab it while it is available. If you like a look but cannot decide, remember that a regular set in a similar finish is always a fine backup.

Still deciding?
